School Shop is the annual ‘back to school’ catalogue for M&S. For 2011, M&S wanted to communicate the value and quality of its schoolwear alongside the fantastic innovations that make life a little bit easier for mums and dads. Kids between 5 and 15 were photographed being themselves and showing how M&S uniforms cope with everyday spills and splashes. The images take centre stage in the 68-page publication that helped achieve an 8% year-on-year increase in sales.

kids for the 18 starring roles
in the catalogue. The 27
shots were also used
in-store and online.
