After five years working full-time on various magazines (some of them best forgotten), I took the plunge and decided to go freelance. A little over three years later, in mid-2010, I turned up at Sunday. Apart from the odd week elsewhere, I've never really left. In early 2011 I joined full-time as a sub on the Vodafone account.

Little known fact
I once did a human suspension – think Richard Harris in A Man Called Horse. I don't recall why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
